What are the options for interior finishing in module construction?

In our approach to interior finishing, including walls, floors and ceilings, we find the perfect balance between functionality and sustainability. This results in a finish that has the quality and appearance of traditional construction methods.

Floors: Sturdy and Stylish

Our buildings are characterized by a smooth floor covering that is fully glued to the floor board. Vinyl and linoleum are the most common choices because of ease of maintenance. But other materials, such as tiles, are certainly also possible, if you, as a customer, wish this.

For modular buildings with a permanent character, we always go for a seamless finish. For projects with temporary applications, such as rentals, we offer solutions with aluminum finishing strips over the links between two units. Skirting boards are always included, finished in PVC or in the same material as the floor. For healthcare applications, skirting boards can also be erected for extra ease of use.

Walls: Versatile and Adaptable

The walls in our modular construction projects are mainly made of gypsum cardboard (gyproc) and are painted and finished in a color of the customer's choice. We offer the flexibility to strengthen walls where necessary and can also tile them if desired. Our walls are not only sturdy, but also have an aesthetic finish that gives each room a unique character.

Ceilings: Elegance and Functionality

For the ceilings, we use plasterboard or acoustic materials, tailored to the specific needs of the project. Our architectural ceilings are made of plasterboard panels, whose thickness and depth are carefully chosen in line with the structure of the building. They are painted and finished for a neat and sleek look. Alternatively, we also offer acoustic or suspended ceilings, perfect for seamless aesthetics and efficient removal of pipes and electrical wiring.

For each Symobo project, finishing materials can be discussed and adapted so that we can optimally meet the individual preferences and needs of our customers.
